Empowering Parents Empowering Communities (EPEC) gives parents an excellent opportunity to give something back to their community. By joining us as a volunteer, parents will receive full training to become Parent Group Leaders and once trained they will then deliver the parenting programme ‘Being a parent’ (BAP) to other parents in the local communities. EPEC empowers parents to build network of support with other parents as well as gives them an opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills.
There will be available further training opportunities for our Parent Group Leaders to deliver groups ‘Being a Parent- Autism’ and ‘Being a Parent- ADHD’
