About Us

The Humanities Qualification aims to provide students with an Entry Pathway Certificate through WJEC board. This qualification includes units for developing skills and knowledge in a range of subject areas:

  • History
  • Geography
  • Religious Studies
  • French.
Topics covered in these areas are:-
 
  1. UK Population Change
  2. Responding to a Major Tectonic Event
  3. Being a tourist in a French speaking country
  4. Contentious issues in the Modern World
  5. Prejudice and Discrimination against People
  6. British Society in the past
  7. Climate Change
Students will complete the course over a 2 year period and will receive a certificate award at the end after gaining over 13 credits. Students will have 3 lessons a week.
