The Preparation for Learning, Life and Employment course aims to provide students with the opportunity to build confidence and independence, as well as improving English, Maths, Employability and Vocational skills. At the end of the first year any students that have employment as their main focus and have a desire to work will have an opportunity to apply for the Supported Internship Programme.
Academic - Students will study a core curriculum of English, Maths and ICT. Since students come to us with a range of previous experiences we will seek to provide each with a programme of study which is tailored to their individual needs. Students will follow either a Functional Skills or GCSE pathway.
Vocational - Our Entry 3/Level 1 Vocational Studies programme will give students the opportunity to develop key skills as well as exploring various employment sectors, including -
