- Listen to my child and their teachers.
- See that my child goes to school regularly, on time and properly equipped.
- Provide an explanation for my child's absence from school.
- Let the school know about any concerns or problems that might affect my child's work or behaviour.
- Support the school behaviour policy.
- Support my child if homework is given.
- Attend parents' evening and discussions about my child's progress.
- Take an interest in my child's life at school.
- Support the community.
2. The School will strive to:
- Listen to pupils and parents.
- Develop a caring environment which is safe and well ordered.
- Contact parents if there is a problem with attendance, behaviour, punctuality or equipment.
- Make homework available where appropriate to pupils' individual needs.
- Send home annual reports, end of Key Stage Assessments, termly curriculum forecasts and individual targets.
- Arrange Parents' Evenings during which progress will be discussed.
- Keep parents informed about school activities through news sheets and notices about special events.
- Support the schools Eco code.
